The secret hidden within Sam's britches! ------------------------------------------------------------------
Today, I promised to reveal the entry from Sam's diary dated 15th February 1790. However, having read further into his lengthy diaries I discovered that he (and his britches) emigrated to the USA, later that year. I also discovered that, when he returned a year later, the item (hidden within his britches) was missing.
I contacted the US Embassy in London, yesterday, and they have asked me not to reveal the missing item because of its importance to the foundation of the US of A. Its public knowledge will also embarrass the memories of several early US Presidents.
BUT, you know me!!
I will continue with my translations of the diaries from Sam's Norfolk Dialect and, who knows, my next book might be called - The Hidden Secret of Sam's Britches" or
"The Norfolk Britches Involvement in the Foundation of the United States of America"!
