I haven't written very much since we've been settling in to our new home. MY last story was about 'Deirdre, Doris and Delphinium'  who are currently sitting in their run at the bottom of our large garden and watching me as I write. They are tame enough to eat out of my hand but if anyone else goes near them they run to me; their surrogate mother.
They are still babies but we hope they will give us our first egg soon and in case you're wondering - there is no doubt that the chickens arrived before the eggs. However, neither I or Albert Einstein are able to answer the unanswerable next question - which chicken is going to lay the first egg?

  1. Yes, we're back in Sheringham and living under the shadow of Beeston Hill.
