"The Rib Crack'd" a new story by Roger Chamberlain. A man returns to the place where he was born. The hill which watched his birth has beckoned him home and he lives again under its reassuring shadow. Unknown to him someone else has returned. Someone who was also born beneath the hill's green but barren slopes. Why have they both been summoned to return and why now? What is the power that the hill holds over them both?
